In Need of Redesign Comments

I'm currently working on a redesign for my ezine, Lowter.com.

http://www.lowter.com/

If you look at our current layout you notice that it looks a little bland, the colors don't strike out, and it's just boring after seeing it for 7 months.

I've done a redesign for the next version of the website:

http://v3.lowter.com/

I think this layout is a lot nicer due to it's fluid design and brighter colors. But I'm not sure what everyone else thinks about it.

They are both CSS layouts (no tables for the layouts at all). They both don't use many images and again are CSS.

I need some good comments on the redesign compared to the older layout. Anything is appreciated.

I'm glad that you like it.

I think that I definately completed my goals with it for faster loading time, fewer needed images, more CSS, fluid, and display more content.

Any other comments?

ethan

v3 seems very nice. The layout is clean and as others have said it loads quite quickly.

Thanks. I guess that this layout gets a go. I'm definately going to use it for the next version once I finish all the other pages and tons of backend coding.
