You Flying?

I created a logo using photoshop and put up a simple website. I hope this will help drum up interest in the domain name. I think I can get potential buyers to look at it as "what it can be" not "what it is".

Has anybody else tried similar things to help sell a domain name? Do you guys think this will help? If so, I may use a similar strategy on more of my domains that I want to sell.

I just think this is better than doing nothing and hoping somebody goes to my sedo parked page and makes an offer.

One little question . Why not going for a professional design. Only a catchy name doesn't do all the work done. Why are you only relying on this ?

I know, but the kind of time and money it would take to make a functioning travel website is out of my reach unless you have another idea. In the past I would have just registered it, parked it with sedo and left it. I think this looks better and maybe, just maybe will help spark some interest.

It's not done, I want to add some more links and deals but it's a good start!

People like to see believable sites. The domain name is great and the presentation will benefit from more care and placement. The better it looks than the more someone can envision what they would do when they own it!

- domain name it's good
- use a pro design if you want to get some business

Go ahead and build the site out and get it ranked for at least one good keyword. It'll be an easy sell then.
