So, you've installed a free cookie-cutter whois script on your domain. Good for you...

And? I don't mean to burst your bubble, but what makes your "site" special?

You're correct, users can manually expand the size. However, why make them? I'd expand both the window AND the table inside the window to optimize the allocation of space. Also, I'd consider NOT doing it in a pop-up, but in the same window.

Just food for thought!

I like Whois sites like yours (without images)

Makes life easier for us 56K Users who have to wait a while for graphics, etc to load on other Domain Reg sites

Thanks

EricH is on a distinguished road

Why do you have it so that (I) click "search" and then still have to click details? Why not click search and just have the details open in the same window (another page, but same window) below another search bar? This way, I'm still in your site, I can still do another search, my pop-up blocker won't block the new window, and I get the information with one click.

Just a thought.

Wait, so, you know for sure it's not a "free cookie cutter script", but you don't actually know what one is? Well, that makes a whole lot of sense! [ << sarcasm]

Instead of having to click on the WHOIS details, you should make the results appear on the same page. What does this WHOIS website offer that other websites don't? IMHO, there would be no use for this unless you add some useful features to it. Ex. Whois.sc has reverse-ip, bulk-checker, history, etc.

I agree that it's nice not to have to type in a number.

And I would also adjust the pop up window. There's no need for it to be so narrow.

I would not go crazy with graphics..Look at sites like google and freewho.com. Simple, easy to navigate and not a bunch of ads. Keep it simple. Maybe add some industry news and some links to likeminded sites..

Breast Cancer
Why are some of you bashing him, all he wants if feedback on the site, things to make it better, asking the customer what they like. And some of you came in here and gave rude remarks. NOT cool.

I like it. Simple. Maybe add a small header, and thats it, something simple and fast loaded. And for the 56k users, add a preloader for it. Keep it up man. It will come together.
