Very VERY slick. The load time is alright, because once my browser chached the graphics, the pages were instant loading. I LOVE the graphics and design. Plus, all the little slick things such as the rollover on the image on the left (copyright notice), and the addding in of external links "ie: the word "browser" goes to "Get Firefox".

I give it a 10/10, because EVERYTHING is formatted correctly, and valiad. Your source code is incredibly neat, and I love all the graphics, and the usablility of the design.

Crap, if I didn't design my own sites, I would DEFINETELY hire you. Best non-flash site I've ever seen in my life. Incredibly nice work.

Keep it up, and good luck!

Take it you like it then wizdude...lol!

It is a pretty sweet design, simple, but effective. Although, in my opinion, a bit of CSS Scrollbar styling would have added that extra finishing touch to make the scollbars fit in with the site...but they only work in IE, but it would have looked nice

Also, you could change that main graphic on the left hand side for each page, it'd add a bit of variation to the site, yet keeping the same, consistent styling.

But, everything else, nice job. I'm likin' your work, good job, I'll give it a 4/5.

I disagree will. The graphic should remain constant, as the graphic is nice, and matches the website. Also, the styling of the scrollbar would clutter up the css, and screw up some HTML in Netscape. It's perfect the way it is. I don't think he should change it. Honestly.

Actually, it's not valid - w3 validator results. It's not formatted correctly, either, as you seem to be using tables for layout.

Other than that, I like the design of the site, just not the code. Oh, and your guestbook doesn't work.

Wizdude, the graphic IS nice, but surely it is better to have lots of different, varying nice graphics, rather than just one?

And also, it wouldn't clutter up the CSS if you simply use an external stylesheet and link to it in the code, just one line in the main code is all you'll need. And also, it wouldn't mess up the whole site in Netscape/Firefox etc, it would just revert the scrollbar back to default.

I do say it would make it better, but, it's up to him

archon the guestbook is workin fine for me, and i have just made the page valid xhtml.

the reason im using tables is that i made it in photoshop, and when i used div layers it was split in other browsers.

DIV and SPAN layers can be configured not to "split" with proper use of CSS. CSS > tables.

love the design, clean and simple. Definately optimize your images though. Dial up would take quite a while to load it..
