Please Review my new Site

I recently completed my web design portfolio site.
Please let me know what you think. Some advice would be nice too.

Thanks.

Breast Cancer
it looks ok

its a bit grey and a bit small but for me what killed it was the .cjb.net and freewebs

you can probably pickup matthewchan.co.uk for next to nothing and hosting for £12.50 a year will make people sit up and take note a bit more

Yeah. I live in Canada though, so a .ca or .com would be more better.
The thing is that I don't know where to buy my domain. I don't know what websites offer better deals so I'm always searching.

Thanks for the reply

www.godaddy.com buy your domain there, there is free add-less domain fowarding so you can host the site where ever and it won't be a problem. The domains are also very cheap per year!

I just think the site window is a bit small, if it was bigger, it will appear more like a website, at the moment the size makes it look like it's a intro page. But overall, i like the website, jus less grey would be nicer, try putting some personality into the design. Add a bit of red or something.

Lightbulb My opinion...if it matters

i'm visiting now and it hasn't finished loading yet...i'm already saying one thing...preloader...back to the site...

okay...now that I've thoroughly checked...The design of the page is nice, I do like the animation, although it does get slightly repetitive if one is browsing deep into your site.

Seeing as I was...I've noticed that you have a very strong dependence (or, infatuation would be better) with flash. Understand that Flash can be a useful tool for cool animated web elements, but you have to first think, "What necessary function will this serve on my site?"
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/61072-please-review-my-new-site.html

I generally tend to denounce much Flash use due to long load times due to over use and bad actionscripting (which often go hand in hand).

Continue on and read up!

Thanks for your feedback everyone

I changed a few things. Please let me know what you think now.

http://matthewchan.cjb.net/

I made the window a bit bigger and I added some music.
I'm currently working on an HTML version and I'm going to get a job so I can starty paying for a professional domain name.
