| NamePros Member | Car Restoration Site: Simple Design I just put up a site for my car restoration project: http://metrospectre.net/dryden/ It's a simple site I designed and coded (and did graphics for - except The 6000 Club and Active Web Hosting banners in the rotation and links page). It's where I'll keep people in the car communities I'm in and friends updated on my project. So I figured a rather simple, uncluttered design would work, since I don't need many pages. How does it look? I'm open to ideas I can practice with. Any ideas, it would also be nice to have a link to an example or tutorial, etc. on how to achieve the effect mentioned. I'd like to learn a few new designing ideas. Thanks. |

| Guest | I like it I really like the simple clean lines. I didn't understand what the site was about, but I think it is appropriate for your audience. I don't know anything about cars, but I'm sure that the people you are targetting will understand it. Good job! Rebecca |

| NamePros Member | Thanks, Firefly. Basically it's a site all about my car project. For instance, the Maintenance page is where I keep the car's maintenance record and a "to do" list. The Restoration Page shows things that were done, and where there's a camera icon, you can see photos of the process. Links are to other car-relatd sites. Simple stuff, but just a little something to keep friends updated.I'm glad I went with a simple design. It seems like it's working out quite nicely. Thanks for your reviews. |
