The design looks clean and usable, and the colours don't clash. That's the good part.

On the other hand, it doesn't look like it has anything to do with space going by the colours and style. It just doesn't look like a space website, perhaps you could try a different look with Space elements such as the moon, stars, sky, other planets and/or space shuttles.

The only reference to anything space related is the cartoon character, but he only appears amongst the text and has one pose. How about putting him in the banner?

Also, the news articles desperately need to be used in same design as the rest of the site. It's no good having news articles if they're not on your site, or what appears to be a different site.

I like the layout and the text is easy to read and understand, but it needs to look more like space.
