One of the few non vbulletin forums and I can stomach, impressive.

Also, aside from the design and code aspect (stuff not as easy to change), your forum selection and order and layout are exceptional (IMHO).

Nice job, maybe add a touch of color somewhere just to break up the grey, but overall A+.

You have a typo in one of your forum titles, Search Engine Optimisation, or is that a seo technique?
The correct spelling is optimization.

I think the theme is too dark and dull.. maybe a fresher, lighter theme/style? Sorry for the hard criticism, but it's my honest opinion. Eitherway, if you can keep up with the questions being asked, it'll be a great forum.

For the record, 'Optimisation' is the correct spelling where I live.

It's like australia uses 'colour', and America uses 'color'.

And 'z' is pronounced 'Zed' in Australia, not 'Zee'.

No hard feelings

Anyway, I have some issues with this forum, first is that the links along the very top bar have flat gray backgounds, which cover up the gradient bar in the background, this looks rather odd.

Another problem is that a lot of the black coloured links are hard to read on the dark gray backgounds, how about using a different link colour? White seems to work fine.

Ok Ive done a bit of a redesign, compressed the topic rows, brightened it a bit and cleaned up some bits and pieces, what do you think now.

Still looks pretty lifeless, the grey is boooring.

And I agree that the header is massive - what are the arches supposed to represent?

And come to that, what is the image of a laptop on a desk for? Just takes up space.

Apart from that it looks pretty good.

Like everyone said the colors need some work, however my biggest issue isnt the grey dull color its the black font color of your categories on such a dull grey, makes it very hard to read.
