FreelanceWarriors.com - Please Review

Hi All,

My newest project is at http://www.FreelanceWarriors.com and I'd like to ask for your honest ( and brutal ) reviews on the site in total. Here's what I'm looking for.

1) I'm looking for a review in terms of a freelancer but any review on any aspect of the site is very much appreciated.

2) I'm particularly interested in how the site looks in various browsers and operating systems. If you could just say what your operating system is and what version of your browser you used to visit the site, I'd REALLY appreciate it.

3) I'd like to know what you think about the load times. Please let me know a ball park figure of how long the site took to load for you.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/58841-freelancewarriors-com-please-review.html

I really appreciate any and all help in reviewing my site.

Thanking you in advance,
GD

Nice load time...but have you ever heard of "above the line"...and "below the line"? All of your main content on the home page is bumped down so that I have to scroll to see it. If I wasn't reviewing the site, I wouldn't have known it was even there. I like the use of graphics, but the text needs some justification or at least tables. I like the content, but not the white background. Maybe something to go there...

I'm not too keen on the ever-changing color scheme...just stick to a layout.

Best Regards,

Wizdude

Well i didn't get to count the load time because it loaded before I could start counting. I have a cable connection with Firefox browser and Windows XP Pro, and (I assume) it works fine.

I agree with Wizdude that there's too much wasted space at the top of the page and the tables need some sort of background colour so they can be distinguished easier. You should also make the width of the page at MOST 760 pixels, it can easily fit to that size. (I don't like to scroll sideways).

I think you should also add some introductory text to explain what the site is about, because it took me a while to grasp the concept.

It could also do with some more visual cues as well, such as icons for each category.

Hi GD,

I checked the Get Paid section...wow...there's a lot of text there...i had to move my head sideways to read some of it...
I think u should consider some structure...small amounts of information that visitors can easily read and follow...organized like some sort of columns and rows so that you allow the eye to "breathe" and locate the info he needs.

I like the logo...pretty interesting for a freelance theme

Good luck!

firefox latest and winxp, load time minimal on 576kbps connection.

design is fine, the buttons on top look very blurry or pixelated imho.

im not sure what internet marketing warriors are and how it relates to freelance warriosrs. only connection i see is warriors!
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=58841

having spent some time i do see the connection, but i sugges you have a bigger header, with 5/6 word if possible making it absolutely clear what you do, you have to grab and "slay" the visitors and make them know what your web site is about instantly! otherwise if they dont know, they will think they have the wrong site.

i like it though, in general but i really think you should get the message of what you do accross more effectively.

Once again outstanding reviews and much needed advice Thanks so much all. I've tried to work all of it into the site and hope it's better than it was. Only time will tell I guess.

Thanks so much once again!
