DJC Online Portfolio/Resume

Hey, I haven't been around lately. Been busy with study and projects.

I would like to show you my newly completed online portfolio/resume site, www.darrenjamescant.info. It's my first "grunge" style layout, which came out quite well in the end.

Any feedback, ratings etc. would be great.

I like it, maybe a bit hard around the edges somwhere, but i like the colors, layout and menuplacement, good work!

Like the red on the hover effect in the menu. I would have tried to smooth the edges a bit more.

The grunge effects on your website look very unique and original and the navigation bar is great. Good job with the design!

It takes like 20 seconds to load each page.

So in fact it is loading.

Yeah I realised the speed of the site isn't that flash, I'm not entirely sure if it's my server or the index files' coding that's causing this.

EDIT: Actually, I take that back. I checked the site and the page with the most images on it only took 16.7 seconds to load on a 56kb connection. See for yourself: loading time.

Now, any other comments?

Thanks very much everyone. My friends who know what my other sites look like seem to think it's my best design yet. I'm glad because it means I'm actually doing something right.
