It's a little on the sterile side given the colors that you use, which is almost exclusively white or shades thereof.
Kids are a bit more colorful and parents, especially young parents are usually not far from that. Consider adding some more colors and go more with an adult tuned baby theme (playful images, but presented in an adult way)
The logo is pretty good, the favicon should reflect your main colors - blue/orange, though. Also, if possible, start utilizing your backdrop, as long as it's empty, its wasted advertising/branding space.

I agree, the first i did not like is a full screen of WHITE... very hard on the eye... also your domain name is to long...

You are happy with your domain name and its good too but somehow little bit long too..
Well your forum looks a bit boring to the eyes and looking too much down with that white background ..Your logo could be more better and professioanl too .
You must look for some negative things and then start to populate it as you are having very few members there

Ah, new posts flashing black are just plain annoying on your whitewash design. You have good colours in your logo! Why don't you use them through your site? As well as your favicon!

I also think you have too many forums for a brand new site/forum. I would suggest trying to use as little forums as possible to make your site seem more activate/alive.

Your posts are also far too spread out in a topic. Too much space separating them is not a good thing and makes the site look disjointed. Especially with your whitewash theme! You need to have flow, and so far I can't see much in your site.

Utilize your colours and spacing. You'll get there in the end. Good luck.

i like the clean design look but you may need to darken the font and try some different background colors

The design is neat imho. It is also good that it is the same color scheme as the original website!

I like the design but just a few things I would change. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the logo but that's not really about the site design. The next thing is the buttons in the right hand corner.

1. They are rounded.
2. The font doesn't match the rest of the site.

Those are my two cents. Other than that, looks good

Agree. Maybe try Trebuchet or something similiar?

only the top header got my attention, scrolling down, all are dull for me. even the N icon, is dull put more color on the forum itself, revise the logo if possible.
