![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | first of all welcome to namepros Trollguy. honestly i have to say the site is a little plain to me. i do not like how the header is a separate frame and that it is black. i think it should be blue to match the site. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/530430-review-my-new-sports-forum.html what you can do to fix this and still keep your css menu bar is remove everything above the menu bar. there is no need for the name of the site there again. you have it below on the forum itself. the only addition i would make to the logo is a tag line or something saying Grand Rapids Sports Forum. the only reason why i knew the gr stood for grand rapids was because it is on the ie tab. sorry, hope i was not too harsh. feel free to pm me when you update the site, i'd be more than happy to look again for you. |

![]() ![]() | not too harsh at all...i'll listen to any suggestions... I didn't design it, b/c i don't know how, but the designer who did said frames would be a good way to go.... I do like that most forums have a custom look...if you took a look at the pistons or michigan state forum....so each forum has a new look... i've always wondered what to do with the top header... I own TalkMichiganSports.com, where I'd like to make the site state wide, but i think the domain is too long....or do you think i could use it? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The font in posts/topics column is barely legible. I would also stay away from using the light blue on darker blue for the board headings (General Category, Pro Sports etc) it is rather hard to read. If you want to keep the frame at the top make it much smaller & then remove the duplication if the forum title again below it. I'd have to agree with Chef I had no clue what GR would have stood for, might be a good idea to integrate the full name into the header. You're off to a good start, best of luck. |

![]() ![]() | thank you for the suggestions....i'll switch up the blue on blue... what do you think of the custom forums...each pro team..semi-pro team and college teams have a different forum design. I'm having the fram cut in half, but need it for the menu bar. Unless you have a better idea on how to keep the menu on the site???? I have a sports bar about to advertise on local deals..so i need that option there.... any other suggestions? |
