Its a very plain design. The logo is great and gives it a little something. If you are not fond of adding color to the CSS of the site i would personally put some flash adverts up. Make the site have a little bit of personality. Other than that the design is flawless and loads quick.
Yes its really look very plain and simple .. You can add some decent colours to it and logo is nice and looking forward for some more posts in order to judge about your content..
I like the clean design. It seems that you are creating a multimedia website, IMO, put a boxing video in the main page will be attractive for your visitors.
Thank you for pointing that out. All of my other sites have policy's compliant with the tos but in building a new site its not really the first thing you worry about.
I also have to disagree with you about it being a minisite. I am going to keep adding news to the site as it happens, and also update the multimedia, rankings etc. So im not really sure how this can be considered a minisite.

Hmm nice and clean look with perfect colour combination in text as well. Looking great and giving pleasure to the visitor. But I think you have taken more space between below boxes of news. That should be minimise.
