Hey guys, here's my 2 weeks old site with it's new layout, http://sapphiro.net .
Please let me know what you think as in overall. I do know that the .net is a little turn off, but unfortunately the .com is already taken and well, it's based on my ign! But anyway, the .net has its meaning, afterall, i call my site "Sapphiro Network".
Site is up for me now. Nice mostly clean design. The colors don't work for me personally but that is just a matter of opinion. I do think the logo is taking up too much of the precious about the fold real estate. Also, when I come to your site as a user who knows nothing about it, there is no clear message of the sites intent. First impressions are important, so I would make it clear to the user what a site has to offer.
Oh, my host was having a scheduled maintenance but I wasnt notified. Well, it's up now.
@ neobodhi: Thanks for the advise, I'll see what I can do to make the intention clearer, because right now I'm not even very sure myself. (It's just an online community for gamers, bloggers and webdesigners, and we're also opening up a department to offer webdesigner/hosting services, an affiliated arcade site and a free image hosting site; complicated rite now. :x)

I like the simple design, and I think the colours work pretty well. The header is borderline on the large side, but you might just get away with it and I think the logo is pretty good.
As mentioned by neobodhi there is no obvious way to tell what the site is about and many visitors won't stick around to find out, without much content it is hard to say whether it will stay like this but at the moment the main content section doesn't inspire me to want to read it.
I look forward to seeing how this sites develops though, so keep us updated
very aggressive on the eyes
needs more image support (what the site is about??)
logo needs tweaking, it just doesnt fit the "hi-tech" look you are going for.
lose the W3.org mini banners. they kill the mood, just add plain text.
make the green columns darker as you scroll down the page.
