It's a little bleak on the colors, but looks great the way it's built! Joomla or a CMS i assume?
The calendar is great, but i'm missing images and videos. Bring some interactivity and connectivity to your userbase.
Shared rides with designated drivers to get to concerts, networking with likewise minded individuals, etc. If you're using Joomla - install the CB (Community Builder), it's going to help with the networking.

Get a better, more dynamic, backdrop. A concert scene, in low opacity to have it almost "faded".

That should keep you busy for a bit
