You'll need:

Images that pertain to the topic and include them into the text to break it up a bit.
DIY videos included in your content
Reference images to the "perfect garden" and the "not so perfect garden".
Some before - after pictures

better screen layout - think CMS (Joomla) for better partitions
Distinct logo and favicon

That should keep you busy grooming your website over the cold months of the year
