CoderScripts is a recently build programming forum.

Because this is very recently build, I need very good suggestions on improving the site before I go on advertising it.

Initial impression is that it looks too...."Invisionee" I.E it looks like a site they would run/own.

I would firstly suggest a different color scheme. The design with the left menu looks very nice, however a little too simple. Maybe you could add some more info (even adverts) down your left-hand side. Some more graphics and more colours.

I like the theme but as RickM said, it does look to invisionfied. Overall I do like the theme, it's very soft and modern. I think you can definately go somewhere with this.

Very clean but IMO to clean. Looks more like a blank slate than a polished forum. I would obviously get a unique banner to put up there. Something modern or even Web 2.0. Make the forum look attractive and have lots going on with it. Put some adverts in the sidebar all the way down. I do not mean just adsense, i am talking about affiliate banners or actual advertisers. This way it looks like it is very active. Along with that i would get custom forum new post and old post icons. This will make it have that "unique" feeling. Basically make it stand out and look active, this is what will attract new and dedicated users.

Very cool site!

The blue in your header is great, it stands out and is attractive. You should use that blue / effect instead of the light cyan colour which lightens the layout up too much... making it "to clean" as Ross has pointed out.

I felt the font sizes are a little small, might wanna up that to 12px or something.

Love the drop-shadows on the top and bottom, really makes a difference.

it's common template nothing to comment on it.
make the header exciting that will cover for the most part.

i don see any problem with the theme and design part ....... i would encourage u to beef up the content posting of the forum...and only then will u gain loyal members
