Granted, not every site can or should be a custom development, but at the very least, try to set some custom appearance by having a unique logo.
Complete overkill on the social bookmarkings - i'd capitalize on the main one, but increase their logos to be a bit more apparent and enticing to click on.
Content looks as if it's custom written/unique - good idea. The more unique content, the better.
Last but not least, bring some images. Not the easiest task given your topics, but even a few filler images are better than just straight text.

Thanks! Added a Logo and reduced the Bookmarks to a few good ones only.

Any more suggestions?

I don't know if i am right or wrong but your column on left side is irritating me it should be on right side ... Else its good and content is good too i like it

Thanks Jacklin, well i did tried it on right, but i felt it better on left.
