I'm not sure if WP will handle the traffic once this site takes off and we anticipate that it will. Ok, we have our fingers crossed. lol. www.complaintbucket.com
I'm more interested in what you think about the concept and idea of a "bitching" site for anyone and everyone. I have researched and there's really no site specifically for this format and presentation.
Registered users can upload a "bitching" video (converted to flash), audio and post a text complaint too. Actually, you can do all three within the same post. Users can complain about spouses, work, school, neighbors, boyfriends, girlfriends or "bitch" about www.complaintbucket.com. LOL.
ok, the idea first of all isn't exactly NEW new, i mean there are lots of sites out there that are meant for the purpose of just complaining about anything (usually its bad companies/etc). but itt's not exactly a popular niche as far as ive seen so perhaps you could strike gold.
as for the actual layout of the site, my only peeve is that the column on the right is too wide. try making it into one column rather than 2 columns for the main column on the right ("Tag Cloud"). also, the "quickly about" part should be edited to end with "it doesn't matter to us" rather than "we don't care". we don't care could be misinterpreted as "we don't care about your problems" (which is what i thought you meant at first) and that would NOT be a message you want to portray to an audience that you want discussing their problems. also, try adding a login form in that column so we don't have to go to a whole new page just to log in.
also, your formatting is messed up. the title for the second post doesnt break to the next line, it just cuts off the footer from the previous post. i use firefox 3.0.1, so check it.
also, how exactly does this work? do people post their complaints as like... comments? or do all the complaints get displayed on the homepage? or is the homepage reserved for just you, the admin's, comments/updates?

i registered in an attempt to post, but there were a few problems. 1) there is no indication that i AM logged in (like no "welcome, <user>" or even just "logged in". 2) i went to the help page to see how to actually post a complaint (which i couldn't find by a quick glance on the homepage - DEFINATELY a major problem) and it said that there should be a "Write Post" link. wait hold on, found something.
I just logged in and was taken to the WP admin panel. using MY login credentials i just was emailed! i mean, true, it's not the full admin panel, but I have the ability to see all the posted and unposted posts, all the approved and unapproved comments, etc. It's true that i can only approve/delete/modify/etc the posts that I have made, but this is still VERY... undesirable. see if you can make a way so users can only SEE their own things rather than everybody's.
all in all, it works but still can use some work on the backend part of it. good luck with the site.
Thanks for the compliment. Tag cloud is a space for tags (embedded keywords) that's how I describe them. Look at YouTube and you'll see tags. It's great for SEO. My opinion.

In the past 30 minutes, I have made several changes due to recent post. More. Please keep in mind that this is Beta and it just rolled of the proverbial internet assembly line yesterday. LOL. More enhancements will follow soon.
It will be a great place for you and everyone to just "bitch". You can complain about anything and everything - it doesn't matter to us. Freedom of expression man - go for it. Upload video, audio, photos or all three.
Hey check out the video I left you at www.complaintbucket.com. It's that easy to upload video. I'm using a webcam on my laptop and I'm on wireless. It took seconds to convert. Faster and cooler than YouTube.

the new header looks good - it gives it a unique "logo" like feel rather than the generic arial font. as for the font, it's smaller, but it still spills onto the next line for a larger name. mine (nasaboy007) seems to still be on the next line. i don't think there's much you can do about that at this point except maybe move the whole part under the title down.
Thanks. I have my fingers crossed that the site will take off. Just think, it gives you (and everyone) the opportunity to vent. The site also gives a person an opportunity to express himself who otherwise is afraid (e.g, teenager being bullied etc).
i actually thought of doing a site like this lol so i think the ideas great im not to thrilled about the layout tho and the videos didnt seem to load maybe wordpress isnt the greatest script to use for this idea
We have decided to stay with WordPress and not use Boonex or others.
In addition, we (my partners) have completed a lot of market research and this site may be huge. It sets the stage for you to "bitch" about anything and everything.
We'll see and I have my fingers crossed. Now -I need traffic. LOL.
