One more time, please.

Hello,

I have had this blog up for review on a fairly frequent basis, I apologize in advance to those of you who may be frustrated with my frequency of posts.

I am just trying to make it better.

If you don't mind, when you have a chance please take another look and give feedback either positive or negative is appreciated. Hopefully, it all goes to making the blog better in the long run.

Thank you very much.

I like the layout. The homepage looks busy at first glance and seems slightly crowded, but after you start looking through it its noticable that the info is good. however, i think you have too many "your ad here" parts (the closable div at the top, the 4 brown boxes) - to me, it just gives an impression of "hi i'm a new site and i'm trying to get all the links i can". i suggest you try not to put THAT many of the "your link here" boxes, maybe just put one or two. 5 all the way at the top of the page seems slightly like overkill to me.

maybe for the rss feed button, the orange/red one would go better with your layout than your blue one.

i suggest moving your search box above your "link here" boxes, because a lot of sites have their searches in the top right - users will automatically go there from familiarity, so they'll be able to locate it easily.

other than that, your index looks good.

moving on to the article pages...

i feel that the "about the author" boxes should be below the articles. users click the links in order to read the article outlined in the headline first, not to see the life and qualifications of the author. however, its great that you include info about the author. many sites don't do this and its a nice luxury to know if your reading the writing of a specialist in the field or just some raving lunatic's. just move it to below the article so that the people who ARE interested in who wrote the article have the option of reading it if they desire.

overall, nice site. i especially like the website color scheme, it gives it a nice nature-oriented, rustic feel.

Thank you nasaboy

I appreciate your insight and suggestions. All opinions help me to refine my blog going forward.

I really appreciate you pointing out the "author" section being relocated. I totally agree!

Have a nice weekend.
