Review - Extra Heat

Hey, I was wondering what you thought of my simple design. The reason why its simple is so it doesn't distract the user from all the content I will be uploading. Was just curious if it is working nicely.

Also, I know the domain sounds a bit saucy haha.

I'm going to be brutally honest when I give you this constructive criticism. Please don't hate me for it
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/494208-review-extra-heat.html
  • While showing potential, the image in the top left isn't all that good. The quality seems low and it does seem rather over-complicated
  • It's coded badly. Tables are for tables. Not for designs. If I may, I suggest you read HTML and CSS for Dummies or similar (I can't remember the precise name, sorry )
  • It's too simple. A design with a similar, simple layout I could suggest is http://maths2.net - That has a really nice design for its simplicity (Yes, I'm talking about the login screen) - Yet it doesn't look too simple

Still, better then some of the designs I made when I was starting. I'd show you, but I don't want to have to pay an optometrist fee for you

Ok thanks for the replies. I have made some changes and the design now uses no tables. This is my first "layout" I've made without tables so its not overly complicated. The content is not complete as I have just quickly written something out and added a game.

I have also left it quite simple, however I will be added to it graphically =)
