The site itself is just getting started. I want to know if anyone thinks I'm going horribly wrong with this. I'm still pretty fresh when it comes to "what is an acceptable site idea" and "what is not."

I don't really know what I'm going to do with it. So far, I've just been throwing in links to project homepages. Advertising? Dunno. I'm not sure where I would put it. I'm definitely considering writing reviews, but I don't know if that would be worth it. Maybe I should just spend my time finding more freeware.

Is it even ok to do this? Maybe those freeware folks don't want extra traffic? Maybe they'd just say "omgwtfbbqsauce what are you doing profiteering off my uberl33tcoderness?"

Theoretical next step soon: head over to np$ board and purchase one of those bookmarking site link things.

Dnscoop estimated $103 before I even touched the site. So I'll do something with it. . .get some traffic. . . and maybe one day. . . site will =

It's going to be a site with links to homepages of various freeware projects that have to do with audio. I have the majority of the links in so far. Midi is the only section lacking. My current goal is to write more reviews and get a good logo. I have photoshop and a brain, so I guess I better start learning. Could come in handy later, anyway. . .

My current only form of revenue is hoping people click on the free xbox 360 thing and do an offer. I am working on getting traffic via tnx.net, but I am having trouble understanding their interface. . .I want pr2 or 3 links but all I see are 0 or 1 to choose from. . .

IMHO...

If your going with xbox use more of their colors.

I would like to see a logo instead of the text in the banner. I'm a logo guy, makes or breaks a site for me. Even if it's the cheapest site or mini-site I like to at least see some effort go into the logo.

Simple is always good but this one may actually be too simple. Just to be honest if I went to this site as is I would leave immediately. I think what might solve this problem is changing this to a 3 column design. 2 columns makes it look too empty.

Sorry wasn't trying to be harsh...just honest.

Updated the site a bit. I changed the theme and threw up a 2 minute header.

I know I need to work on it a lot, but for now it looks. . .better?

Yeah, the front page is still a mess.

The site design does not look bad at all

I'd recommend changing the favicon and adding more content to the site in general. Oh, and maybe get a little more interesting of a header later on. Other than that, it looks good. Best of luck.
