Here's some images of my current templates that I've made. I still consider myself an amateur at making web interfaces but here's what I've made, in order of creation.
The above link will lead to a mediocre looking page which is a gateway to all the templates I've created. Some were designed using a tutorial and coded by myself. I've never once used a tutorial for coding a template but I have had help from the owner of www.thewinator.nl.
I would much rather people rate the designs and not the coding used to design them as some may not like my coding method (as it is messy) and I may've coded them like crap, but I'm not concerned so long as they work in Firefox and IE.
"Microsoft Internet Explorer - Killing web design since 1995!"
I like them they're very professional looking, while being extremely good on the eye, as I said before, I think you could have a good future in making templates
Seriously though, I just want peoples opinions on my layouts. As I'm seriously looking into a career in design. I want to specialize in not only 3D Game Design but also specialize in the use of Adobe Photoshop and Flash for use in web-based environments (e.g., web design).
I also am looking into a future in web design preferably, but I definitely want to get into either programming or 3d graphics design for games, not textures but models, and stuff like that
These are nice and clean but I wouldn't go as far to call them professional. If you are a designer than the images could be sharper and use better contrast. I really like the usability and accessibility of your layouts. Well done so far but you need to keep working and I am sure you can get there with a bit of hard work.
Thanks, like I said, I'm still working on it. I don't call them professional or even good for that matter, but some would say I'm just being modest LOL.
Anyways, I plan on working on more soon. And the Red & Black one is crap but most of it's for the design of it.
Really Nice Mate. One thing that I like is every design is in proportion. Nothing too extended. Yes, but you do seem to avoid much graphics in your designs. You should add them up.

My most image-heavy designs are the So Blue and GXP Redesign one. I don't think a website layout needs to stocked with loads of image when it really doesn't need to be. I like simple templates, which is why one of my faves in that list is Simplistic Red (next to GXP Redesign as I think it's my best work, personally).
Simplistic Red looks amazingly simplistic. I liked its simplicity.
This template can be used for something like a personal blog or personal photo gallery.
It varies for length of time taken but I make all the images in Adobe Photoshop CS3 and do all the coding in either Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 or Notepad (Notepad is used when I can't be bothered loading Dreamweaver lol).
The Red & Black one took the longest as at first I tried making it with divs but failed so I just used tables and it did look so much different than it does now (didn't have the sidebar for one). Then I converted it to divs and it took around a month to make in total (including tables and divs).
The So Blue one wasn't originally coded by me but it took me about 1 week to create in Photoshop CS3 after screwing around with it (and eventually changing the navigation bar two months later lol).
The Press Start one was the hardest and still is as I'm having trouble with backgrounds but I'm not too worried about it as I may not bother with it. It took the longest to code though. I used a tutorial to make the design in Photoshop and that took around 6 hours (after changing so goddamn much of it and getting it's gradients right lol)
The Simplistic Red one took the shortest because of it's sheer simplicity and because I made it using a tutorial and because it was so simple it took like around 1-2 hours to make.
The GXP Redesign took around a week and a half to create as the end result has a load more images than the preview does and you'll find that out if you visit Glitches Exposed probably tomorrow (which is when I'll be finished copying every glitch to the new layout lol).
GXP Redesign took the longest but not in coding as I used the So Blue one as a base (I also use the Red & Black template as a base for all my templates so it takes quicker to code them then if I did it from scratch lol). It's images took forever though because I wanted to get then just right lol. I don't think I did too bad for someone who is an amateur at Photoshop.
Thanks guys, your comments are appreciated. I feel like making more, I'm actually trying to make the Red & Black one into a more wider, 3-column layout now (I use the Red & Black one for it's only divs and the base of all my other ones lol).
