Please Reveiw My Site

I made this site to showcase my web design and to create a site where people can contact me to get web design services. I wanted it to represent my design techniques. Please give me feedback on your opinions and if I should change anything because although I like it others may not.

Nice clean simple design. Have you thought about centering the content? I think you are off to a good start but I would add something more graphical to make it pop.

Well the whole point was to make it less flashy and more focused on the content. I was going to center it but I wanted room to put adsense and other ads. Thanks for your feedback. I shall be fine tuning it so that I can code it up and get it on the web. More feedback is appreciated

This design is great. But doesn't suit its purpose. Make a design like a set of postcards(spread like cards), which actually look like the photos of your designs. Its upto you, just be creative.
Since you are designer, your personal portfolio needs to be a little colorful with a few good color combinations. Let the background be white, as this will suit any color you use on top of it.

Seems like you are starting off your career.
All the best!

I don't see the greatness in this design. Try reading some typography tutorials and get rid of that times new roman. And another tip - when you design the mockup try to use normal font rendering instead of sharp or crisp for a much accurate design.

I feel like I just stepped back into 1999. Too dark and boring in my opinion

Personally, I really like the layout - it's simple, with no clutter.

However, in my opinion, I'm not too sure about the font for the title - it doesn't seem quite right to me. It could do with being changed and have a bit more substance - something thicker, with perhaps a subtle texture and and maybe an outer glow to offset the dark background.

Otherwise, I like where you're going with it - I'll be interested to see the finished article.

To be honest i don't like the design
It's like puting few tables and fill them up
The only pleasant to the eye is the background
The colors are dark
