Very nice man. I love simplistic looks as well. Way to go. The only 2 things I would make is logo and favicon .

I am being really fussy about what the logo should look like so I will do that later.

Any ideas for the logo and favicon?

Looks very nice. Simple and effective look while also having a great number of icons available. Adding a logo would make it even better. Maybe a blue based logo to blend with the rest of the layout. Some kind of unique looking banner of course.
