I've posted this new design on a few websites and I've gotten some nice constructive feedback. I've made some changes based on people's comments and I still plan on changing it a little more. One thing I have changed already was the feature images at the top of the site (before they were just three small images and now there is one large image and two smaller ones). The background is another thing I plan on changing (recommendations?).

The forums display best in the latest version of Mozilla. The layout was made in Macromedia Fireworks and is running on Ncaster 1.7.2 (a gaming CMS). Feel free to post your comments. Thanks.

I found it very hard to find anything wrong with this layout! The colors look great, the fonts are very legible and the content is all accessible. Great job with making the menu at top stand out and great use of the Silkscreen font -- it really completes the design! Way to go!

anysite that is down with old school nintendo is A+ in my book!

The color scheme works...especially for a nintendo site!

The only thing I would consider changing are the font sizes of the section-titles on the right sidebar (latest news, latest reviews, latest previews, partners). For some, they may be a bit hard to read; therefore, making them a bit bigger couldn't hurt (unless it makes it aesthetically unappealing).
-Of course, this is a really minor issue... so...

Otherwise, good work.

Thanks everyone. I've also just recently added rotating banners, so if you refresh, you'll see a different header. So far there are 11 different banners.
