Smile Feedback and Ideas Please J D

Just in the early stages of starting a new social network for extreme sports enthusiastics to gather. Will also have a store attached for t-shirts and stuff.

Looking for any ideas to incorporate and make it stand out.

All ideas would be of great help.

Some of the work we will be incorporating is located here.

Kamloops, I really like the Joe Danger logo. The original with hard shading.

I honestly am not a big fan of the guy illustration. Course I never was a fan of the godaddy logo at all either. They put that thing everywhere. I would stick with something simpler and the logotype graffiti style you have is good and it works horizontal as well which is good for headers.

For good inspiration look at some of the skate company's out there. They often have sweet sites and cutting edge for the industry.

Like it! The JD drawings are spot on and versatile. It's a different approach - i can't really remember anyone that has associated danger/extreme sports with a figure that symbolically stand for it.
Maybe tune down the repetition of the logo in the backdrop just a little bit. Leave it there, but not as often.
Get some videos going, they're vital to the site. People don't just want to see still shots of action sports.
Overall, i like it - it's off to a great start!
