First almost tableless/no javascript site

The only tables are the PHP stuff to show items for sale. IE does not recognize the position fixed so the menu scrolls.

Comments please. Especially did I get carried away with the rollover effects?

i think the moveing menu looks a bit tacky, the roleovers are nice thow, the counter dosent realy work with the menu moveing up and down, perhaps you should relocate that. apart from that the sites looking good (Y)

What browser you using and what resolution? The menu should stay fixed on the screen(except IE). On all browsers I have tested with the link descriptions should all fall between bottom of the menu and counter. There may be problems with some IE as position fixed is not implemented.

I don't think you went too far with the rollovers. Gotta get it right for IE though that is still the biggy.

I do think that some of the colors are a little garish. When I rolled over a menu item that green text scared me

Thanks for all the input. Am going with this & add content as time & pocketbook permits.
IE users will have to live with the the fact that their browser is non-complient. The idea is not use javascript -- less complication.

I think it's a great exercise in css layout. I think the rollovers are a bit much, I would use a <div> to frame the picture on the front page in a slightly lighter color then the background and give some space between the graphic and the text.

something like: <div style="background-color: #ccc; padding:5px;">

A nice standards compliant effort. Next time, try it without *ANY* tables!

Thank you! I have not looked to see if it would 'validate'. The tables are there because that is a little script that I have been using for quite sometime. Is on my list to redo it without the tables.
