Hello all,
I have been mainly focusing on programing on this website to integrate features into the PHPbb platform. I am now at the point where design comes in and simply am at a road block, I have no clue what feel would fit the sites concept and thought this would be the place to get some recommendations and ideas on where to take the design aspect for Domaining Source.
I have simply tossed up a slightly modified template and created the logo in a mere 5 minutes as a starting point. I would like your recommendations and ideas on a new logo as well as which design/style direction you feel would best fit this website.

| It actually does look quite sleek.
I'd utilize the blue color of the header and draw it into the section headers (e.g: General Domaining Discussion). This would give you a more compact look overall.
Also, the hard white of the backdrop could benefit from a bit softer color, eventually a faint trace of blue again, shaded into hard white. You've started it right below your header, but you could easily expand that further downward.
Other than that, it looks well done, could of course use some more content, but that will come over time.

| Thanks, I think you are very right....I will see what I can put together...Content and activity will make a world of difference in my opinion, this seems to rid a site of its ghostly feel and provides a homey sense....if only time could fly

| I have updated www.domainingsource.com and used several of your reccomendations..please review and let me know if you think i should make any further adjustments.
Alot of the features I would like reviewed such as the chatroom and the user control panel, you need to be registered to view...If you dont mind registering really quick to help me out and critique these aspects I would really appreciate it.

| Awesome man thanks!....we put alot of effort in the functionality and SEO aspect so as soon as we get a good initial member base and the topics and posts are flowing the site should grow itself...I wish it could happen over night but thats never the case
