Logo Design (reviews please)

I didn't follow any tut. I've been working on Logo design since 3 days. This is probably my second one.

not bad but its a pain the butt having to turn my head to read what is says. also the shapes look pixelated.

I like the shapes on the first two designs. Have you tried using Illustrator?
I find it gives you more freedom when editing text; more variables to work with.

def better. the very first one you put up is a heck noooo.

on these three you put up i like 1, 2 & 3. 1 & 2 would be better if you used that the red in the image.

Ye, great logos. I think the third one that you have posted is the best.

1) Looks more like a website header than a logo. Think about the mediums you're going to put it on? Is it scalable?

2) The second one looks like it says "dusk.comsoft" to me. Also, not sure what the thing on the right is. I also don't love the typeface.

3) The third one is the strongest so far. The reflection of the icon is wrong, however, compared to the reflection of the type. Also, you have a lot of colour going on there. Generally try to keep it to 1 or 2 colours, 3 at most. Also, it's very "web 2.0" style (yes, we all know web 2.0 isn't a style).

4) The last one in this set to me is the strongest. Strong, bold, I like the kerning in the "Skilgannon's." Check the leading between "Skilgannon's" and "artworks," as that will get really tight on a business card. Lastly, maybe take off the border around the icon on the left. But, out of everything I've seen, I like this one the best. Looks good!

i don't think it's a logo yet, you just played with the background and made it vertical. also if it's a logo it's good practice to provide several versions of it

I really like #4. It would be even better if you enlarge the size of "network".
