For the love of god, pay someone to do a nice header/logo. That is honestly one of the worst I've ever seen.

I have to agree with Hayes, the only thing you need to changed on your website design is the header and maybe add an logo to it . Something to brand your website .

Bring the site to 75-80% screen width (liquid) and add some off shade backdrop to make your content stand out a bit more. Also the hard white of your content area is also a bit too bright, if you can shade the white, it would be easier on the eyes.
