Good day everyone.

I am a Malaysian high school student working on a website for my school's web creating contest, but I am only that good in design and such would really appreciate any suggestions, help etc. regarding the site.

Note that there has been complaints that the flash banner takes too long to load and that the site won't show up properly in FireFox.

However, as the contest rules states that load times are not taken into account for the final computation of marks (everyone else use only plain flash and hand in their entries on a CD so it wouldn't be fair if load time was considered I fought hard for this), I'll leave it there for the time being and let it remain there if I can't find a replacement.

The testing machine for the final is on a high end machine that runs windows with the latest edition of IE. I believe I would concentrate more on other aspects of the site rather than browser issues.

I am sorry that I cannot provide an log in account and that some parts of the site is in chinese. But I sincerely hope that you people can help me out.

selamat datang! tha flash loading is fast enough for me! i guess it would be slower for dial-up!

looks good to me! as i dont even have any skills in web design yet!!

The flash does take a fairly long time to load even on DSL but otherwise i think the site is quite good.

Your flash is neat and your site also, the only problem that I can see is that your flash banner is not to scale with the rest of your site and also the flash does not match your site. Maybe use similar color/theme? Otherwise great work and good luck on the contest.

He is try to say that the Flash banner is too wide for the layout. The Flah takes ages for me but I have 56K so dont worry. Cool dropdown menus and your colour scheme could use some work. Try to Borders around Text Areas and use Gradients etc, although this can not be learnt overnight. Well done

@Freak, try to make the button background color (gray) the same as the page background color (lightblueviolet) or use only one background color. I think you top Flash movie is to large, it's only show, it has no function. Try to use one font type you are using a strange bad font for you navigation bar (first level) but use a complete not matching font for the content text and the second level navigation is again a different font? Also the alignment of the text in the buttons is not correct, see the button "Registered Users" it has a top alignment? (Should be centered) and the button "Search Science.net" is to small the text is not fitting in? Good Luck!

it is a very nice design,i like it.

but texts are out of box & also in menu fonts are miss alignment.

loding time is very slow

color scheme is nice
