Why isn't my site coming up on google??

My blog has been running for about two months now but google doesn't show it when I type in certain terms (even if i type in the url of the site). Why is this so? I update it daily and it has been going for a while now. Please could you guys suggest what the problem might be. The site is gentleman's journal Please could you suggest what's wrong (and also check out my site

You probably need to get more sites to link to your blog. Google has to find a way to get to your site before it can be indexed.

Well you have a little bit of links and youre in Yahoo but you'll have to build a few more links and just wait it out for google.

To get your site higher on google and a better placement look for high PR (pagerank) sites. They need to be at least PR4.
Most valued blog sites have high PR so try to exchange with them.

Shouldnt be a problem getting #1 on google -No much competition or traffic for "gentleman's Journal". Youre already #1 at yahoo for it with only a few links.

I think we had a thread on here before, where someone claimed that placing the URL in your signature might help. Good luck.

http://www.google.com/addurl.html

but, you still have to wait awhile.
