So this is my first run at it, i am working on playing with ideas why it's titled alpha.

So please give your reviews on this design any suggestions would be great!

Not all too much to review yet. First thing that stood out to me is the mismatch of colors to the domain name. I'd give the mountains at least some shade of red to reflect the domain name.
I do like the subtleness of the design, though. It's a good starting point.

I like the white font you are using at the top, but it is a bit unclear/blurry (viewed on Firefox).
Plus some spelling, but I know it's just a beta...

Looks pretty good.

Watch the font; it isn't very legible, and the outer glow makes it look even more blurry.

Other than that, it looks good. I hope you take out the watermarks when you code it
