Compared to the usual search engines, yours looks a bit over crowded. Take a look at Google/Ask and the new MSN, they all follow the KISS principle and attach their tools behind drop down sections.
While i think that you need to retain your own footprint and shouldn't follow the lead that others are drawing up, there's a reason why the big SEs look the way they do. (Yahoo is the exception).
An overhaul of the site is definitely a good idea, i'd get a few layouts started and post the .psd files for review - this way we'll be able to give you our opinion before you actually start coding everything.

I agree with above. Just looks a little crowded. I am no expert certainly, but to me looks like an ad page, I can hardly see the search box, my eye goes to the ads first.

The actual content is great once you strip all those ads away - why do you have so many?

Keep your navigation constant, I clicked the Games link and thought I was in a different site. Some of your graphics don't match either.

---

All in all, your site works great, just needs to be stripped of most of the adverts and have the design polished a little. but seriously, if you want people to visit the site, get rid of all of the adverts apart from a banner or two, tucked away somewhere.

I'm not going to review the main site, as it has been reviewed by several people above and there's almost nothing to add, so I'll just review the video section.
So, here's everything I have to say about it
  • First of all, get a darker green..It's almost impossible to read the text that's written on it.I mean for log in, register, statistic, tag cloud etc.
  • For watch, embed and share, try getting rid of that blue background for the icons..put it the same green, or make them transparent
  • Nobody is gonna click the ads as you can't read the title..Again, bright green
  • For Recently Viewed, try making it a sliding effect. If you know what I mean..It would look better.
  • the Advertisement is also far, far away...few people go down there
  • There's nothing in the featured area..but in the other two there is..so, when the Featured section is there, try making that content section smaller..so it automatically gets bigger if there's more to display
  • Add a .favicon

That's all from me!
