My site's design, tell me what you think

http://nickmade.tk Tell me what you think of the design. I'd like some suggestions on anything that should be added, changed, or removed.

Hi, I would NOT place this much text on your first page people do not read this, just "welcome" or "enter" is enough

and I think the green color in your logo is not matching the bleu and the gray colors used in the website. Try to use the same font and font size (see your "Site News") on the site. Good Luck

I need that text on the entry page because it is the page i submit to search engines and most engines need you to have at least a paragraph or 2 on the 1st page. Thanks for your imput! I'll work on the onther 2 suggestions! Do you think a dark green blue, almost turquois would work better for the logo?

I updated it a bit so there is no longer the text, but now a FLASH INTRO. Tell me what you think!

Fixed the font in the news scroller, added some content, and made a graphic navigation bar. I've also decided not to change my logo. I've been trying some different colors, and I like the origional light green and maroon.

Your header doesnt fit the style of the site at all. Well, thats not entirely true because there doesnt seem to be a style at all. I'd suggest trying to make every element fit together into a theme, right now you have the flash intro, then the green header, blue navigation and just plain odd center content box.

I'd also suggest changing the site to be at 80% width, it will give it a more professional look.

you can see where the logo image ends (the 2 gradients don't connect right). That's a pretty big frame at the top... and no reason for it to be there. The colors in the logo don't go well with the blue AT ALL. try some mouseovers.
