The Bora Bora guide looks a lot more like a "real site" compared to the guide to Brazil, which comes across as a mini/ad sense site right from the get-go.

Overall, i like the Bora Bora layout, the visuals, links, everything flows nicely, making it easy to navigate the site intuitively.
Changes that might make a little difference:
1, "Bora-Bora , A Place You Must Visit" could be placed better into the banner, making it "one item" rather than something that's "just typed" over top of it.

2, Bring some videos that show the beauty of Bora Bora, they'd fit great into the images folder.

3, if you don't have any ads to place into the advertising section, make your own. Advertise your own page or an affiliate program of a travel agency. Whatever you do, solve the empty space that states: "Put ads here (160px) ..." somehow. It doesn't flow with your site.

4, #3 also applies here. Where your menu item depicts partners, you actually don't have anything, but the links that are still in hiding there, are referring back to your own site. Make use of the space and plug in some partners. Whether this be your own network, such as your Brazil site or a true partner that comes through an affiliate network, etc.

Other than that, nicely done.

Just wanted to add a quick note that GuideToBrzail.info is not rendering properly in Opera and of course both of your site don't validate using w3c validator. Otherwise they are pretty good mini info sites.
