Webmaster Site Review Please!

It's a bit on the plain side. Better graphics, a consistent visual appearance (Blog/Forum, etc) and more content would be very helpful. Overhaul your logo to show a bit more substance as well, it feels like a "stick figure" just thrown together. The Favicon is actually my favorite part of your site, as it's easy to identify, clear and clean cut.
Since you're targeting new webmasters, why not taking the "before-after" approach of your current looks. Use the screen shots of your current/default layouts, then change the appearance to be the same throughout your site. Outline the process of how you achieved conformity and you've got your first tutorial together.

Not necessarily odd, just means that you could have probably done the logo yourself

I agree site need more content and more colorfull. I do like the site and its purpose.
