Well, in fact it shouldn't be hard for you to write about Rome. I think that what you've done is good, but you should try to add some more content.
But we are now speaking about design...for me it is too simple! The colours are not associated with Rome (use more 'stone' colors, some yellow palette and a bit of 'smalt'))), you'd better to use photo as header, also try to think about logo.
That's what to start with! Good luck

I agree with the post above, the design look vey plain, it looks like a ms word document. I would suggest you look into css gallerys website for some ideas, I think with some color and a bit tweaking you should be fine.

Indeed, there's a lot more to Rome than what you've displayed so far.
The above posts are absolutely right, you need to get a better template, incorporate some of the spectacular images and sights in Rome. Rome has a certain feel and flair to it, the cobble stone roads, churches, fountains, market places, museums, etc. Bring some of the flair into your site.
The content itself is "ok", your getting closest in your "Attractions" section where you're incorporating visuals, videos would be even better.

Overall, you'd need to overhaul your entire site to make it Rome worthy.

Maybe some info of the airports in Rome, i believe there are 2 in Rome. Just some basic info.

Agree with comments above with colours.
