Very nice work. Although, I think the header is using so much space from the blog upper side. But your skills are indeed there, and you're talended. Why not go something more professional and maintain your own name/brand. Anyway, this looks fine on my eyes.

Agreed, I like the colors and the header is HUGE!

i also agree.. the color combination is nice.. but the header is too big.. it looks like the attention of the reader will be focused on the header and not on your post... and maybe you should create another header image that will surely suit your site...
and about the images.. are you the one who design that?.. if your answer is yes.. why don't you add on your post how you create it?..
