Please review my site moldytoast.com

Hello,

Please review my web site //http://www.moldytoast.com. Yes, I did write moldytoast. LOL

The site just rolled off the web master assembly line and we are looking for a niche too. Any help is great and appreciated.

Thanks,

Nice Site!
My Reviews:-
Your site is opening fine in I-E and Firefox -

Ads Placement is good

Your site Logo is not that good, make it bit sharp.

Wow! Thank you for the review...excellent.

Yeah, the logo needs work and I'm trying. LOL. I did make changes approx. 7 minutes ago, so maybe that will help.

The name is the uniqueness and I hope the teens and young adults catch on to it. My traffic is picking up and I'm getting more members. Need to network.

Thanks again,

Interesting yet not really "tasty".
The concept of the site fits all the way through. The moldy green, the logo, the tag line is quite nifty. Use the slices of toast as a favicon as well, should be a simple job.
The nav bar could benefit from a stronger color, to be offset from the background a bit more. Due to its small font, it could easily be overlooked.
I wonder if you should try to darken the backdrop a few shades, just to take some of the brightness out. Maybe it's worth checking that out.
The adsense box is good where it's at, the center point of the site is used for your own advertising - very smart solution!

Other than that, solid video script implementation, just a few minor adjustments and "voila`", you're done.

A good concept, I like the look although I'm not too sure if the look sits with those people likely to be on the internet and have moldy toast..

Thank you for your excellent and appreciated opinion.

I have gone through soooooo many logos and I must agree about the nav. bar. It's CSS controlled and I will play with the colors today.

The name was NOT my brilliant idea and I must confess today. My neighbor's 12 year old daughter thought of the name and now she wants commission. Smart girl.

I'll be working on your recommendations today.

Thanks,

IB,

I took your advice and I did change the logo and the CSS.

Please reevaluate.

Thanks,

Wildlife Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS)
That's a great idea, and great name kudos to your 12 year old daughter for coming up wit the name.
The site looks great, but I think it's a little too MySpace-ish. A little more life to the navigation would look great and right of the header seems a bit empty to me. The "Unlimited, blah, blah, blah" thing might do well there if you work on restyling it, some ads, or some popular videos.
Also, I think you should put a little more emphasis on the "Join" button in the login box on this right hand side.

Other than that, it looks great!

Thank you and I agree about the right of the logo, it is empty and look weird empty. However, all that is CSS and I'll need to insert in the template and I hate doing that. ;( But, I like the popular video idea. Mmmmmm.

In regards to the navigation, I like to hear your ideas in length (if you don't mind).

The join button needs to be worked on and while writing this I may have the solution. Yeah, it's in my head now and it will be on the site in moments.

You have choosen an interesting concept there, the logo is nice and the colours combination is great, but i think you have too many colours on it . You should stick on 2-3 colours combination . In rest , the website looks good , you should try adding something to your sidebar beside the adsense skyscraper .

Have a great day,
Iulian

I did change the look and you're probably right about the colors. To many can be confusing; however I need for it to standout. Oh boy.
