Politics On Fire - Reviews Welcome

I just opened a fairly recent forum, Politics On Fire and am wondering how people think I should improve it.
I particularly like my quote guys in the right corner

Pretty neat idea, the quote guys are cool and the blue is nicely neutral.
I'd still appreciate a bit more orientation and have the opportunity to comment on the recent news from Dems, Reps, Greens and whoever else is out there. The vB portal would come in handy if you'd consider pulling in the latest political news to give your users something to talk about and start their threads with.
I'm not sure if you have a video mod installed for vB, but it would make for quite some interesting topics to get some of the interviews and speeches from our so called "leaders".

Other than that, it's a pretty standard vB install, the Favicon is cool, could benefit from a but more contrast to emphasize the fire. Good idea, much success!

Thanks for your comments, I'll add some of those mods you specified and work on implementing some more current events.

You took a very nice vBulletin theme, but it certainly doesn't match the content of your forum.

I highly recommend that you change your theme to a red tone, or something firey. The favicon is nice, but the logo definitely doesn't fit with the rest of the theme.

Also, it seems rather silly having a Joseph Stalin quote being said by two guys with santa hats.

Change the theme, and it will look better with the rest of your site.

Thanks for your comments Frikkle.
I know the theme doesn't match too much with the website. But the members and I enjoy it; and there doesn't seem any need for a change or me to spend more money. Also, I don't know if you refreshed the page or not, but the quotes rotate. I think that's a nice add-on to the website.
