Please Review..Simple Rudy Giuliani Site

I am not a website designer....hell i still use fromtpage.

Just looking for some feed back on my site.

VoteRudy08.com

It has been up and running for about 2 months but it has taken me that long to figure out how to add a comments script...ha

Now that i am finished I would like ideas to make it more appealing.

Please be as harsh as you like

-Thank you for your time.

For a non designer that's using front page, that's a very decent job. You seem to have considered everything, including the favicon, although your main banner image seems to be broken.

Overall, you could have probably accomplished the same with a little less work by utilizing wordpress, but you still have done an outstanding job considering your self proclaimed status as non-designer!

Thank you for the feed back.....yes i am a non-designer (Have tried wordpress..coudn't figure it out..lol)

...all my websites use free templates and and then i develop it by reading information here. Then when i start a new site i forget everything and have to start over.

My main banner image is just WordArt words....are u using something other than Internet Explorer......that may be the reason. Should just read "Vote Rudy 08"
in red outlined in white.

Once again thank you for the input

-Thank you for your time.

Your main header image (http://www.voterudy08.com/index_temp...s/image001.gif) is not on the server, which is why it is a broken image. Other than that nice job.

Cancer Survivorship
Pretty nice. But as said before, it would be better if you use wordpress. There are many hosts that have Fantastico, and you can install Wordpress in your host in 2 - 3 clicks...
Great job.

you have a nice site.. and to think that you created that one on Frontpage..

but IMO, you put lots of ads on your site.. maybe try to decrease the ads or maybe you can put a banner ads and text ads.. not only pure banner ads..

and also I notice that some of your post are align center.. its not that bad, but it looks like a poem for me... that's just what I notice.. i am just a newbie.. and I am just saying what I saw..

yeah i couldn't figure if i should center the posts or left align....i tried them both ways and neither affected the viewing so i just kinda left them centered...thanks for giving me some feed back on that...it was a concern of mine

also i wondered how clutterd all those ads would look.....not that any get clicks...ha

Thank you all so much for all of your comments....every opinion is much appreciated

All in all the site looks great! But the centering of the articles is a mistake. It makes an otherwise professional looking site amateurish. The articles should be left-justified. The other dead giveaway is the pixelated looking main title graphic. These are things that can be easily remedied and polish the site. Great job!

It looks good for a design newbie. I am one too.

I think the menu on the left should be left-justified as well. Also, perhaps a different color.

Nice site. It's very simple; I recommend you use a better logo and smooth out the rounded corners, but nice job for a nondesigner.

The adsense and everything else is very nicely integrated though.

Good job.

(I found your hidden link in the bottom right; change the CSS tags to make the blue underline feature go away )
