1. using a 1024x768 resolution ( afaik, still the most common ) there are no links to products on the homepage which are visible without scrolling.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/399973-a-so-far-uneffective-website.html

2. the huge header is a complete waste of screen space, and it contains zero links ( e.g. amazon and ebay both have small headers, which are full of links and have prominent search boxes, there are good reasons for this )

3. the design is very amateurish, which will not give people confidence to stay on your site/click on links, i suggest you get a template and then change the colours / images if you want a more christmasy feel ) e.g. free-css.com have a good collection of templates.

4. the colours are bad:
- i know that red and green is for christmas, but more muted tones of red and green would be better.
- the black background in the center of the page is more indicative of warez and adult sites than a christmas toys site.
- the navigation is blue on blue.

5. you say you have many visitors, but where are they coming from, is it quality traffic?

6. figures i have seen indicate that most ecommerce sites only convert approx 1-2% of visits into purchases, anything above that and you're doing well.

The site looks very 1990'ish. You need a complete overhaul to make this site a visually trustworthy one. In the grand scheme of online stores, there are quite some Harrod's while you're the ancient, dangerous, unclean bazaar. (no offense).

My suggestion would be to get one of the free online store scripts, there are tons of them out there. Check with your host, they should have shopping scripts readily available for you.
Once the shopping script is installed and your feed is live, you might want to consider changing templates to reflect your domain name.
Bottom line, what you have right now, is not working for a reason. Time to change

Interesting site.

The site itself seems an okay idea. It is simple and easy to use.

But the website design is truly lacking. The design consists wholly of no gradients or textures; you need to find a web 2.0 and revamp it. The header consists of capitalized letters and asterisks; I recommend that you replace it with an image logo. The navigation is okay, but cyan is really a bad color to have for mouseover; it hurts your eyes and does not blend in well.

Last, I highly recommend that you do something about the tiled background, because it looks very unprofessional.

Instead of fixing these errors, I think you should revamp the site entirely.

Good luck with it.
