[Full] Review this new shopping deals website

Hello,

Please review this new shopping deals website.
What do you think about the layout, colors and graphics?
Do you find it useful? What would you do to improve the look and feel of the site?

Thanks

Congratulations for your new site!
It is indeed content-rich, and I like the layout overall, and I have tried to collect a few comments regarding your site layout.

1.. In the navigation bar, when I move curosr over a link, it turns red. It's ok but you used the red with other links, and I would suggest a color, a little lighter.. perhaps white. just try if it does not look better for you, keep it as it is.

2.. the layout is sliced well, but I would recommend a light seperator between deals.. maybe surround each deal with a very light colour ..something of the gray.

3.. I do suggest reducing the number of deals per page. for simple reason, that will reduce the scroller on right side.. it is not a rule but some users do not like to scroll down so much

4.. Adsense placement.. I love the placement of the top AD.. If you only chose image ads then this reduces your maximum potential profit, you would like to run both text/image links.

5. lastly, a favicon is needed as a last visual touch to your site.

Those comments are all minor things, keeping the overall work very great and impressive.. So congrats and good luck

Yep, what he ^^^^^ said

I'm actually having a bit more of an issue with the red mouse over color on the nav bar. It blends into the red a bit too much, making the actual link harder to read. I'd suggest to eventually color the "tab" red upon mouseover and simultaniously change the writing to "white", once the mouse moves away, return to the default layout.

The voting opportunity is great! The rest of the script is also very intuitive and flows well. Favicon is there and goes alongside your CD, which is key to branding.

Overall, great job!

P.S:
If you like, PM me or post here and let us know which script you're using. I'd appreciate it!

Thanks,

IB

first, I see you added a favicon but it's not really clear.... try putting only the money but it must be clear enough
and then, about the layout.. try putting some space from the top to the layout, I think it would look better, though put just a bit
and then, on the right and the left side of the page there is like a while column, get rid of that, especially on the right side because of the scroll box(where you go up and down ). and finally, I'd also complain about the hover effect you've chosen for the navigation bar... it's hard to read
oh yes... and so far, in the our favorite links part, try putting some temporary links as it kind of looks weird.. anything, even if linking to your websites

Clever domain name for a great site. I love the Web 2.0 guy and the favicon as well as the slogan; they make it easy to remember the site to revisit it.

I did not realize that it was a social bookmarking site until I saw the vote/bury boxes; that could be a good or bad thing. The favorite links at the bottom don't work, nor does the Popular Deals link.

I think you should change the hover colors for the navigation to white.

I think it's one of the best implementations of social bookmarking I've seen; be sure to market it well and it'll be a success.

The links at the bottom do work. The Popular Deals link just points to the homepage.

Thanks for the reviews. The site is a work in progress. I still have plenty of stuff to implement.
