Actually, I am missing the point of website. GetClicks.net, when I entered I expected something like paid clicks / but I only saw couple of blogs and a paragraph.

So I do not really understand what are you trying to do / sell. Are you selling links on your own site? Or want to establish a pay-per-click?

Either way, the site this way does not attract potential webmasters to pay to get clicks to their website. You are not including any details regarding the price, and how these clicks are generated, etc. I'm confused

You have a great name there to develop a really cool site, as above about paid clicks would work really well. At the moment its all a bit strange...

yes, I am selling links on my site. you say the site does not attract potential webmasters to pay to get clicks. Do you know of a low budget site that does this effectively?

My response is in line with general guidelines. and you stated it already

Your site simply does not explain, are you selling traffic? or want to build a paid clicks website or what? I just see couple of logos to blogs and a paragraph that users should e-mail you to buy clicks. Anyone would get confused.. am I doing something unusual?

I like your idea of getting blogs listed in your site, just like blogger and other blog creation/consolidation engines. Unfortunately, you site lacks design improvements, and accessibility.

Also please not that if your intention is to encourage click fraud through your website or engaging in any activities that violates Adsense or any other third-party advertisers, surely your concept is offensive. Anyway, I'm not sure about your website's concept yet.

I assume you intend to operate a directory like service. If that is the case, ignore the above message. Best of luck.

Were you expecting something like Google Adwords?

sorry to tell you but the design looks bad, really bad
and the text in the header is squished
the only thing I liked about it is the mosueover the images
and the name made me think of something illegal, like get your ads clicked

Sorry im not usually very negetive when it comes to critique, but it needs a lot of work. Looks very out dated, needs a modern look. Colors are wrong. I would start with getting a nice logo designed, and build around it. Look at other sites in the same genre for inspiration.

I understand the idea of looking different than other websites and to attempt to break the mold, in your case you just missed the target. As it's been pointed out throughout the responses; there are many things missing. Starting with a unique logo, associated color composition, screen arrangement and other visual implementations you're also missing some other important factors.
What is your unique proposition to the user?
What's the user's benefit of becoming part of your site?
...and several other questions that you should be able to answer through your site. Once you have all the answers, balance your text and image content that neither gets too overwhelming.

Best of luck,

IB

Catchy domain name. It really works for advertising. But the colors are off. I dont like the green. I think a carbon-fiber look would look clean. And the text is too plain. Work with it to find the perfect balance.

The domain name itself is good.

I agree that the design is highly antiquated. You need some z-axis 3d-depth to make the design more web 2.0.

You need to have more on your site to make it more popular. You need content and other services. As far as I can understand, a link dump won't do a whole lot for you. There are loads of link directories on the web; come up with some fresh ideas to make your site a hit. You definitely need a better logo also; right now all you have is text on a black background.

What I do like about your site are the mouse-over images for the icons. However, they look too much like Microsoft Word clip-art; you should try using some glossy icons.

Also, in the footer, it says "hoplinks"; I assume that's a typo.
