New Vodka Site and its free!!!

Hi all,
Not being the most technical minded when it comes to websites, thought I would use a free site to get mine up and running.

Any comments are always welcome and look forward to them.

Congrats to a site that's very well done. While your overall design could use some improvements, your content, wherever there is one, is stellar.
In regards to the site design, bring the nav bar below the headline, get a custom logo made and bring some of that "absolut" branding in. This does not mean that you should use absolute's ideas, but if you're equally creative, you'll get your place in the Vodka scene pretty quickly.

Great line up of bars, the Below Zero bar in London sounds like the place to be!
In your nav bar: "wierd" should be "Weird", also, proof read your entire work, there may be more errors. Not that they impact the user experience overall, but for the critical mind, such as the educated vodka drinker, this can be a bit distracting.

Overall, great site - for your first project, you kicked some major arse!

Thanks for your comments, As i say i'm not the most techy when it comes to this sort of thing, but i'm tinkering around with templates and seeing what i come up with!!

Will be adding more bars to the very soon!!!

As they say Rome was'nt built in a day!!!

Vodka is a wine type from russian???

In Vietnam (my country), we have a type called: VODKA HANOI (Hanoi is capital of Vietnam). I like drink Vodka Hanoi so much.

In my country, 750ml Vodka Hanoi only $4.

Guys, comments really valued, I have changed the template and tried a different look to it.

Stats are growing which is great news for the site and the devolopment of the site.

Time will tell with it as with everything in this game!!!

I am sorry to tell you that the content is very difficult to read without hurting your eyes. It looks different from others and is easy to navigate; however has that kinda of home mad allure around (google maps and feeds).
However i really like the name and personally think that .in is a great extension!
Please i dont want to offend you just a critic opinion to help you improving the site.

Imagine if google showed the cached version of your content in its entirety, within their results pages, and replaced your ads with theirs - never even bothering to cite you as the source!

How would you feel?

Sites like this are the work of the devil imo.

I like the simple layout / navigation though.

GDz is right; you need your own unique content if you want your site to be a big hit; else your website will end up not much better than a simple parked vodka page.

As for the site itself, it is way too dark. The links are too dark of a gray tone; lighten them up a bit or lighten up the background. There isn't really a theme for the site; you should definitely find one that will work well and place your content in it.

Having Sedo statistics, ads throughout, and all those links at the bottom give the visitor the impression that the site only exists to be monetized; blend them in better.

The layout is not bad - nice simple navigation, but I think the color is just a little to dark.
Now if someone had been drinking vodka and looked at your site, I doubt he'd be able to read it easily. Adjust the color contrast between the background and the content.

Also, instead of having links to Wikipedia, why not to vodka resellers instead.

Easy doms, just've read about your vodka experience, nice))! A funny site I think but still about design:
1. You use different hues of green color combining it with some red, gray and dominating one is black. Try to make it in "golden section" style using only 3 colors, less black (may be some pictures?)
2. You use different colors for fonts in different section. I don't think it's a good choice.
Therefore, the site is not only a mainpage, so I appreciate your work, good luck with that project!
