review me portfolio/personal website [draft]

Been cooking this up for awhile...
looks a lot darker on this monitor than the flatscreen I designed the site on (more backlighting maybe)... lemme know how it looks on yours, and what you think of the layout.

treatment for my fear of death

Links etc. nonfunctional until I figure out Javascripting (see my thread in Programming "javascript: one link for multiple iframes")

Thanks for the feedback in advance.

I like it for the most part. I don't really like the colors of the 'projects' box though. But I like the nav and the pics.

I like the design, its unique. One thing I would suggest is to work on the text for the links, try to do something to make it stand out a bit more, maybe make them into 3d buttons? Just throwing out ideas.

I'd also lighten the white bar that is running down the page, it draws attention away from the rest of the site because of how bright it is.

*UPDATE*

Please check this out (again if you already did before).

"Graphic Design" and "About Me" links now functional (I finally learned some Javascript and solved my problem... hooray!).

Now you can see the real dynamic of the design...

And I think it's pretty nifty.

Again: Treatment for My Fear of Death

Suggestions?
