Adsense heaven. The ads are overpowering the minimal content, the banner is still not looking right (you didn't improve it since last time you had the site reviewed)

Use a small windmill as FavIcon, tune down on the Google Ads and place them more strategically while you bring more content to the front end. Video integration of the functionality of renewable energy sources would be great. Hop on the Al Gore train and bring some of his video bits, graphics, statistics and user submissions into your content mix.

Ok, I'm new to css but I think I have the header issue resolved. I can't get more than 1280 wide so I can't check it at your resolution.

I removed the ads from the left side of the main page and added an additional article.

I'll continue adding content as time permits.

Definitely an improvement to before

The FavIcon, although small is neat. The removal of the adsense overload was a good call, maybe contextual ads would work for you?
If you bring some videos in, work some on your backdrop and build the page into the serenity of the windows "Bliss" landscape (just an example), you'd transmit the tranquility and undisturbed beauty that a windmill can create, as opposed to a "coal burning plant"

Keep on working on this, it's a good project and can definitely be elevated to become your showcase.

I like your site and I think with a little more work you can turn it into a money maker. Alternative energy sites will become much more popular in the near future and I'm hoping to have a few of my own. Just curious....why don't you have something on hydrogen and fuelcells? I know they're expensive but they are available in many areas.

Also it would be interesting if you could provide a little info on connecting the private source of energy into the local grid and how that works to lower ones electric bill. Good luck with your site.

Thanks nstalk, I don't have anything on fuel cells mainly because I know nothing about them! I'm sure I'll add something on them when I can read up on them or find someone who can write about them.

I'll also be adding info on grid intertie systems, inverters etc. This area is one of my personal hobbies. I just built a new house that is heated and cooled with a geothermal system, and next year we'll be adding a solar system to generate our own electricity. By the end of next summer I'm hoping our only energy costs will be the connection fees and gas for our dryer and range! :-)

Sounds like you've got things going for you pretty good. I've gotta do some of the same things. Here is a site you may want to bookmark to keep up with a lot of daily fuelcell and hydrogen information. There is also a treasure of hydrogen fuelcell info one can learn a lot from. Good Luck!
