Please Review Tunedscooter.com

Purpose of the site: To view information and reviews on how to tune scooters, which products are not good, and which ones which i personally recommend.

It also contains links to all scooter related sites, which will help.

Please suggest me any other ideas to improve the site.

tunedscooter.com

Thanks in advanced,

Rob

The stock image is fine, but it's hard to understand your logo letters first-time. I would encourage having your own logo clearly integrated in the top of the design.

Navigation is fine...the footer section is a bit confusing which shows "About Me" then some google ads appear below this. I misunderstand the footer part a bit.

Great efforts, good luck

Ahhh.... LOL, thanks for reminding me about the footer bit, i forgot to change that. Fixed that error.

I can change that logo. Do you have any suggestions about what fontface i should use? At the moment i am using "21 Kilobyte Salute". It is a very fancy logo, but it is pointless if people cannot read it.

The content of the site is actually pretty decent so far. Seems as it's unique and written by a true user/scooter driver. That's certainly a plus point.

A few things to consider:
The easy stuff first; center your adsense box on the bottom.
Remove the logo and work on something more distinct, meaningful and easier to decipher. Your entire header section is too busy and leads to more distraction than actual branding. The font selection is .. well... yeah,..change it.
Once you have your header section + logo worked out, get a FavIcon together.

If you're looking for logo suggestions, if you have a few $, make a design contest out of it. If not, put on your thinking cap and visualize your work at your own scooter or from the local scooter shop, then work from there. Make sure that your logo is clear, concise and expresses what your site is about. Simplicity while remaining informative is the key.

Great start, just fine tuning...

I don't have any money at all to invest. I am hopeing that the content will be indexed by search engines, and when people search for help, they will come to my site.

What font would you recommend for the logo? Shall i have just 1 pic of a scooter and the rest will be the name and brand of the site?

I am really crap at logos, always have been, always will be. I am just naturally rubbish at gfx
